lazy me is wondering if anyone knows of fun things to do in montreal? the lady k. and i are planning a last-minute tenth-anniversary trip in mid-october.
when planning trips to unfamiliar places, i get overwhelmed. i want centuries of history. i want transit maps. i want full-color watercolors of mausolea and desserts. i want the hotel room where lived suzanne verdal, the muse of leonard cohen who shared with him a plate of mandarin oranges. i want to take a breakfast meeting at the office québécois de la langue française with martha wainwright and her dogsled team. but i guess i need, like, a place to stay and things to do.
there will be poutine.
